I told my husband and we turned on the radio. MJ was playing. I started to tear up. STILL not believing we turned to a rock station and they too were playing "Smooth Criminal" remade by Alien Ant Farm. I then burst into endless tears. That was such a terrible day but MJ lives on forever. Still, many miss him :(

I remember when i was at my little sister graduation when my phone news app opened and said micheal jackson the King Of Pop was died and i couldnt believe it ad i told my mom, and aunt who couldnt believe it either. we get out when the radio was palying all od this songs and me and sister remembering when we had the video tape and we would played it and dance along and sing aong. my favorite song man in the mirror and smooth criminal. I remember being at work when I heard about it, a customer had come in and she was on the phone with her sister asking her sister was it true MJ died and my jaws just dropped. One of my co-workers who was standing next to me told me her mom texted her and asked her had she heard.Another Customer comes walking up and says its true MJ passed away, its all over the radio there even playing his songs on Country and Rock stations. My heart sank I went in the bathroom and cried for the rest of the day

I was sittin' at home just watchin' tv, & my mama called me. Her & my sister told me that they had just announced it on the radio. But I was like nawh, he ain't dead. I turned it on the news & told them that they said he was just hospitalized from a heart attack. Then like 5 mins later they pronounced him dead & I ain't say a WORD for like 10 mins. I couldn't believe it. i called my best friend & before I even said anything, she said "Its okay, kelz." I just bust out cryin'.. RIP MJ, <3 you.

did anyone find out thru their parents? my parents know i love mj so they didnt even wanna tell me..they had to tell me to breathe and brace myself and then they told me i just sat down stiff as a board shaking because i didnt even wanna believe what i was hearing then i wanted to take a break and calm down and every channel was about the death of mj so all i could do was cry my heart and eyes out then my friend called and she's 11 and i found how hard it is to calm a kid down...very painful day

It wasn't confirmed yet but she told me he had a heart attack and I didn't believe her, but as I thought about it more i quickly ran up to my room and clicked through EVERY channel to find out if it was true and I remember turning to FOX 5 news and across the screen it said MICHAEL JACKSON DEAD AT 50 I dropped my remote and screamed and cried my eyes out. I cried myself to sleep that night. It was the worst day of my life

James Brown died December (25) 2006 and now Michael Jackson died June (25) 2009..
