I lived in the enclave of Rancho San Diego for 5 years. Great place for little kids, ( if they can go to Fuerte Elem ) . After 5th grade though, you gotta get em outta there.

Lakeside was developed to be the "La Jolla of East County" then the sand miners, meth labs, and eventually bros (neo skin heads) took over. With that said, Lakeside definitely has some horrible parts, but I would have to agree that the valley of El Cajon is so much worse.

El Cajon is a fine collaboration of some of the worst of every race in the county. It's like all the rejects from the other counties met up here. Santee and Lakeside are both way better than El Cajon in terms of quality of living. El Cajon may not have the rednecks that santee and lakeside do, but it makes up for it with gangs and criminals. BTW I am born and raised in El Cajon, the quality of people and amount of drugs has never been great, take a cruise down main street for confirmation.

Where?, the trailer park? they have some nice trees there. El Cajon's not big brah, just drive a minute or two and you'll be in a fairly shitty neighborhood with mass tweekers in no time. Poor people ride the trolley in, set up shop and spread haha.

I live next to boarding care facility and a lot of the schizophrenic people there get high and drunk all the time, and just cause havoc on the street. Not to mention, all the little ''gangsta's" that roam like ants there too. My family and I need to move else where. We have lived on this street since I was 8, and it seems like it just gets worse as the years go by.

I remember once there was a guy found dead behind a dumpster for one of the complexes up closer to Lexington 'in the pose'... meaning squatted down, needle in arm... only laying on his side, keeled over!
