  • what are dual rates?

  • Thanks for the video!

  • Thank you very much for sharing that! :)

  • Man you fly in mode one !

  • um wats expo and if u awnser ill subscribe

  • @rcheliflyer100 LOL.. sorry for the late reply.. Expo just makes the controls less responsive near the central position, so the heli will feel a little less twitchy.

  • GREAT VIDEO!!!THANKS .. i love the way my mcp x is flying now . what great control i feel i have at half stick.. i wasnt happy with the stick almost three quarters up before lift off. now its just where i want it .. thanks for sharing .. i always tell my kids sharing is caring... i must take the time to thank you ROB for making this and all of your other videos.. i really cant thank you enough.. much thanks again.

  • @TheMegamadzak Awesome.. great that the settings work for you!. Thanks for the feedback..

  • Thank you for posting this!

This is the first time I've tried to use a bind and fly system. Where on the transmitter is the bind button? Why does it seem as though your radios sticks are is backwards from mine?

  • @handofchurchill My radio is in Mode 1 with the throttle on the right.. The bind button on this radio is on the top left hand side..

  • That's collective, not elevator.

  • @motoballz Actually, it should have been "fore and aft cyclic"

Collective is something different altogether... shown a few seconds later in the video..

But yes, you do make a good point. I should get my terminology correct for these videos. I am dual rated on full size helis and FW, and often use those terms interchangably (though I shouldn't..)

  • @Trainboy64 I'm pretty sure I commented apologizing because you're Mode 1 and I'm Mode 2. Also stated I'm a rotorcraft CFI/CFII, therefore I know the physics behind rotary flight and proper terms.

  • @motoballz No worries.. all good mate.. Mode 2.. I actually wanted to learn that way because it seemed more like a real aircraft, but when I was young all the radios available in Australia were mode 1 and the club was the same...

  • Nice video series. I noticed in your video a slight servo noise when no input is occuring to the MCPX. I just purchased an MCPX and it does the same thing. However my msr and SR120 do not make this servo jitter noise. On my MCPX I can see the servo gears twitch. Is this normal for the MCPX?

  • @inrkratos Yes, that is normal in both of my MCPXs.. It doesn't affect the fli\ght performance.. I think it is caused by the flybarless stabilization system

  • @inrkratos I just purchased my MCPX and i notice the same thing.

  • I DONT USE EXPOS BECAUSE MY STiCKS ARE ALWAYS IN THE CORNER!

  • HEY THERE

CAN U PLEASE SHOW ME UR SETTINGS FOR THE MCXP WITH DA DX6I... I TRIED SETTING UP MY DX6I ACCORDING TO THE MANUEL BUT I THINK IV MESSED UP MY SETTINGS SOMEWHERE... SO CAN U PLEASE MAKE A VIDEO ON DAT PLEASE,,,, THNK YOU..

  • @icbtkandy Ok, give me a few days.. I just saw your request..

  • Q: does the head seem a little tight? i noticed when you shut it down it stops spinning almost right away.

  • @weflyer Yes, the head was very tight for the first few flights.. I am not sure that that was normal.. I have had over 30 flights on it now and it is much looser now, more like the 120 SR
