Thanks for this. I can remember David Dimbleby's reaction when the computer animated helicopter landed on Peter Snow in the 2004 US election. Best of all, though, was the three-way battleground revealed in the 2005 general election: red, blue and yellow pegs through down from the map of the UK on to something that looked like a very complicated game of three-way chess.
I believe that Peter Snow was the best in the election coverage when it came to mapping out swings of votes and where the votes were coming from.

wow, the graphics for the early 90s to mid 90s were pretty impressive at that time. they must have put a lot of money to it.
and is it just me or does it seem like over the years the quality of the graphics are degrading?
