if its already went on lockdown go on limited access and go on the downloads if u have any right click them and open containing folder then go on computer and shift and right click on C:/ then its should say open command windows here click on it and write explorer.exe then it will be unlocked but dont close activation key thing just do what this video sais :D

hey, im running windows 7 home premium on my little notebook, but i had to wipe it back to a clean version of windows 7 (still exactly the same as before just faster) but when i tried activating it with the product key it wouldn't activate 'kept coming up with an error occurred' so i used another product key and the same happened. any help? ps i can't ask microsoft because i broke my laptop and had to pirate a copy seen as pc world said it was knackered :/ thanks :)

@Otownchris420 it means there's either broken OS registries that's not recognizing you as the administrator or you have bad administrator settings, i always have to manually set my administrator setting on a fresh OS

if you want to use Vista for more than 120 days either buy it or keep reinstalling it

a produck key that has already been used once wont work again. plus a product key on the side of your computer usualy means it needs an oem install to use that produck key. but whenever you install an oem version of windows it installes re-activated

thats normal Windows Vista will try to activate after 3 days if the produck key is onvalid then it will change to 30 days so don't worry about that
