how exactly do you get these notes? do you copy the sheet music or is it straight out of the brain? I really want to make a toxicity song and I don't know how help me out please.

Well, if you can "sing" the notes in your head and transfer them on the Mario Paint, then you can do it that way. Also, I found a vid of someone doing a bass tab chart here on YouTube, so I used that to help me with the bass line, and I also used the Rock Band videos of all the various instruments to help chart this as well. I used both methods, and I feel you on Toxicity. I trying to do that in a program called Finale Notepad, which is way better than Mario Paint.
