In order for homosexuals to lay hold of "homosexual marriage" they have to force it everyone else by means of political and legal action (which is not acceptable). It is not an extension of the law, but a subversion. "Homosexual adoption" is nothing but legalized child abuse. It is analogous to handing a child over to a pair of alcoholics or drug addicts. Somehow your parents didn't rear you correctly. Defending this lifestyle is reprehensible.

Contrary to popular delusion, homosexuals are not a newly discovered race or sex. It is a lifestyle choice, just like smoking or drinking. We don't pass laws to protect smokers and drinkers on the grounds that they were "born that way". To the contrary, we restrict their rights to smoke in restaurants and to drive with a beer in their hand. It's the same way with homosexuality. They have no right to force their lifestyle on the rest of us.
@MaryWaterton You rarely see gay people especially at UNC forcing their lifestyle on us, its actually more of the opposite, they just seek to be accepted (which is reasonable). The difference between this "lifestyle choice" and smoking and drinking and the laws that restrict it is that those 2 things are detrimental to human health, homosexuality is not. It also doesn't infringe on anyone's rights so restrictions on gay marriage, adoption, etc. its absolutely reprehensible.
