When I saw Sirius kill Altair, I was thinking "What the heck just happened!?"
When I found out Sirius was using Bomberman to get what he wanted, I was thinking "Wow, what a stinkin JERK!!! I should've known better than to trust him!!!"
When I saw Rainbow Palace on the stage select screen, I said "..................are you kidding me!? No, oh nonononono, this cannot be happening! I barely pulled this off as is, but now I have a whole other world to face!? Does this nightmare never end!!!!!"
@GalaxyWisp He was always acting kinda fishy, but seeing this plot-twist definitely took me by surprise the first time I saw it. I can still remember that when I saw that a 6th world had opened up, I was so excited at the prospect of new levels to play...and get my ass kicked by them. Thankfully they did not disappoint in either respect XD
@RainbowBomb1 Thankfully it's not impossibly difficult to get all 120, though it does take a lot of trial-and-error with some cards in particular. I'll admit that I relied a lot on some of the walkthroughs on GameFAQs for learning how to do some of these way back in the day. Helped me out a lot big-time
im happy i can only get 5 cards on all bosses exept the fire levels final, and the high-tech-harvester, my words when sirus killed altair then then went evil were "what a dick"
when I was younger, this plottwist surprised the hell out of me when it turned out that Surius was just using White Bomber/Shirobon as a pawn in a sick game of chess.
Oh yeah no kidding man. I wasn't even aware that something special happened when you beat Altair upon getting all 100 gold cards. I just remember I had gotten all 100 a while beforehand and I was just fighting Altair for fun, and then being taken completely by surprise when this whole thing unfolded
that guy use bomberman to get the cube back really anoying jaja y remember i also get to that stage but never complete the 3rd one so i will watch this, altair stole the cube but both want it for destruction but this guy really wanted to destroy em all jaja really a good hame great memories i will never forget
Altair was the only fight that gave me trouble in reference to getting all the gold cards. Everything else wasn't all that bad, but this took me a long time. It just took so damn long to hit him on the head with the pumped bomb.
The easiest way is to pump up a bomb and stand in front of him. Sometimes he'll send out that shockwave. If you are close enough to him, after the shockwave hits you and knocks you out, the bomb will fly out of Bomberman's hands and land right on Altair. He doesn't send those shockwaves out a lot, but it's faster than trying to knock him out.
Eh, there are a few that are a huge pain in the ass to get (one such case being this boss fight), though it helps to have an FAQ handy the first time through
I always knew there was something fishy about *removed to avoid spoiling anything*. Especially when *removed to avoid spoiling anything* made that comment at the end of the first ending. Kickass laser, too.
more proof that Regulus is badass: he returns for the sequel

Hahaha, yeah Sirius leading Bomberman astray like that was a pretty dickish move

I never knew about that secret level! I've played Bomberman since I was a child, and yet I never got around to collecting all of those cards.
... Perhaps I will one day, for the sake of my childhood.

how unlock the battle vs sirius?
Gnubbi 3 years ago
Well to get to the final battle you have to beat the last world in the game, which is unlocked by collecting all 100 gold cards.

This was a fantastic plot twist, however!

Oh yeah, that one took me forever. Even if you do manage to stun him with a kicked bomb, it's still hard as crap to hit him before he wakes back up.

Oh nice, I don't think I ever thought of that one. Sounds a lot easier than the other method
