@DaChiefn1 the death penalty in Mexico would make the most sense since these Narcos don't think twice about kill innocent children and women. upon capture the Mexican Army should Execute Narcos by firing squad.
I support the death penalty in Mexico, they should go thru the process of court and if found to be organizsied of a crime orgazaction and inocent pepole found to be murdered thru them, they should be put to death as soon A.S.P The U.S.A should do the same why let another counrty try this on there pepole when the U.S.A is the same whith out race to be the reason but the statue of the crime, why give out time in prison, and have the tax payer suffer for there crime,s Justise has to be served .
@xbarbariex-Afirmacion? Quieres afirmacion?
There is simply no way this pathetic administration is dealing with this hell of a drug war. With the President only person interested in actually fighting it and every wicked member of his cabinet sucked up into corrption, how are things supposed to move? This will only get worse-and that 25-year deadline is coming close quick
I would have enforced it a long time ago. For murders, rapist, child molesters, drug dealers/ lords and for treason. Public hangings would be suitable, so that the rest wont step out of line .The death penalty for kidnappers seems to harsh(unless they murdered or raped their victims), but a long sentencing would be fair. Plus, tougher sentencing for anyone who is involved in the drug trade.
but the usa is real good hu?north americans need to stop using all the drugs first before theres any change.usa is the biggest user of drugs.and the government is dumb also making war on other countrys for greediness thats why it is losing to weaker enemys as punishment like korea vietnam afgan irak etc.

Cobin: Oh, the evidence says that you are attending the University of Insultia. It seems like your professor is teaching you how to come up with silly insults :)
if death penalty is approved, all the mafiosos have to do now is pay the judge and police to blame someone else who is innocent and have them face the death penalty. then the case would be closed and the real criminals are declared innocent. as crrupt as mexican government is; the death penalty could just become another strategy for the mafiosos.
Listen if the Mexican government doesn't install the death penalty for murderers down there then they had better do something, because the cartel are out of control.
DEA arrests caused power vacuums along the Tex-Mex boarder; The loss of Abrego was like losing Saddam Hussein in Iraq: Afterward all hell broke loose!
Drug leaders placed in prison quickly forged alliances, (Tijuanas Arellano Felix & Gulf leader Osiel Cardnas). The Mexican prison system has become a recruiting & university drug training inst for the drug lords
DEA meddling has exacerbated the trouble; Their war on Mexican drugs made things worse! The stats speak clearly for themselves!
As a mexican citizen I can say that kidnapping, drug cartels murders and corruption are the issues that we are worring about, I understand the feeling of so many mexicans who wants the death penalty, because the government hadn't do anything about it, anything to prevent, to investigate. But as a mexican i believe too, that we have first to change so many laws, the police, the court, the judges, how can you trust in mexican court houses?!
can u guys imagine, they could kill an inocent guy!
But how many kidnappings are there, really? Has the amount really gone up, and by how much? What about crime in general?
The video never gives us any numbers, just tells us that there is an emergency. And that the proposed solution is the death penalty.
The death penalty has been considered immoral by most of the civilized world. Yet they recently brought back torture, and imprisonment without trial, and surveillance of the population in the U.S.A.
It is really a pity that the violence/kidnappings have risen in Mexico the way it has. Mexico is really a wonderful country with a lot of history and natural beauty, (not to mention great food), but with this crime wave I'm sure that people will think twice about visiting Mexico and makes the natives nervous about leaving their homes.
Think realistically, you have to know that sometimes talking will not get through to many if not all criminals. Fear sometimes is the only deterrent. Sadly, even in that case most criminals don't fear death. Although turning the other cheek is not always the wisest idea.
I hope I don't come off as saying criminals should be free to do whatever they want without consequence. I think lengthy incarceration would be as good if not better as a deterrent, which would not resort the good of society to killing. I respect your argument, but there has never been conclusive evidence to show that the death penalty is effective as a deterrent. So, why chance executing innocents to protect other innocents. It seems hypocritical.
I understand the problem with the possibility of executing the innocents. That would fall under the responsibility of the police to do their job correctly. Which means that we have the possibility of innocent people rotting in jail and/or the criminals getting bailed out or bribed out. What's the point of even having laws if the criminals are the only ones who are protected by them?
How is getting free food, housing and all basic essentials without having to do a bit of work (which is how most prisons are to prisoners) a deterrent to crime? I don't think that's punishment.
cure murder with death.... makes sense... that's logical thinking... what's wrong with locking someone up for life?... instead of just offing them.. maybe it's not the people, maybe it's the system
