Breaking Bad's Giancarlo Esposito Discusses Walter's Fate

[fehzorz]

In the finale Walt gets arrested after Skylar narcs. In an attempt at redemption, he'll give up everything he knows. This gets him off the charges, and a new identity, but then dies of cancer shortly after. Hank however, will decide not to let Skylar and Jr, who already got new identities and lives earlier, be notified of Walt's death (and they have no way of ever finding out). Walt doesn't get to be mourned; he will forever be a criminal who forced his family to change their lives out of fear.

My pick is that whether Walt's alive or dead, by the end of the finale he'll have lost everything, and his family will be in witness protection (Walt Jr changing his name to Flynn) and they won't care about him anymore. The ultimate ironic ending is if Walt turns over a new leaf and tries to "break good", but he's so far gone that nothing he can do will bring back the family he did it all for. I can even imagine his attempt at redemption being hidden from the audience until the end as a twist.

it WILL be fantastic. come on vince! make this show go out how it started. the pilot was amazing and every episode following has been (with the exception of one of the episodes at the beginning of season 4 was kind of boring) i would like for walt and jesse to live but if they both died, that could be an awesome ending!

Plus, I think WW is nearly out of money based on what he got from Gus, minus what he spent on his cancer and for Hank and the car wash and Saul and Beneke.
