I guess what makes gambling so puzzling to me is that I just see it as losing money. I'd rather take that money and spend it on something frivolous than just plain lose it. But it seems that for the gamblers, they -are- spending the money on something. They're buying a thrill. And that's just not my kind of thrill.

Louis is amazing! I find him so insightful and the way he approaches situations is much more open minded . The intrusiveness of a lot of other journalists gives us a very biased picture but what he creates is a non bias image of what really goes on and lets us decide.

Journalists are supposed to be intrusive - he isn't getting paid to go to Vegas and make a bunch of friends, he's getting paid to document gambling.
