"Play" on my video menu fades in, is there any way to set the button to appear after it fades in so that there isn't a random color box before the text appears?

When I change my button highlight color, and change the shape to 'simplebutton', I don't see the highlight ever appear. It doesn't seem to be anything obvious like,"Is the opacity turned down?"... so I'm kinda at a loss.

You're definitely helping me. Thank you! One question though, how do I insert hyperlinks to websites? I want the user to pop the disc into their computer, play the disc and then press a hyperlink to take them to a website.

Hello, thanks for your tutorial, I have an urgent question, I have created 2 dvds with your tutorial, but at the end when I put them in the dvd player and see the movie (with 17 chapters), I can not go to the following chapter with the next bottom(or skip bottom) on the remote control, I have to go to the menu and choose on the menu the following chapter, how can I change the chapter whem im watching the mvie and from the remote control and not form the menu? help me please!!

Mpeg dvd file. if you cant find it, then export it as a mov, and convert it to an mpeg-2 dvd using either compressor or Adobe media encoder.

I cant seem to burn my project to dvd i passed up the 4.7 gb ,mines says 7.1 but today i did purchase dual dvd discs but they pop out when put saying the disc is not writable any solutions?

if you have a scene selection button, you would need another menu with all the scenes listed.

When I put the disc in a PC there is a folder HVDVD_TS and when you click on it there are like 12 different files .EVO etc.....

all your QT movies you imported did you have to take them into compressor and if you did did they take long to compress?

i exported them as quicktime movie from final cut. this way i can upload to youtube. i then use adobe media encoder which converts them to dvd ready files. it depends on the speed of you mac, but for me it takes about a minute and a bit for every minute of footage.

and it takes like small little video windows

and those make up for the buttons have you ever tried something like that?

Hey do you have to necessarly take all clips yo create in FCP into dvd to compress them in order for them to work in DVD SP? i love this tutorial

i belive that dvd studio pro only accepts dvd files. you can use compressor for that or media encoder. this can be anoying i know, adobe encore hads an encoder built into it.

nice tutorial. I have a question thats kind of unrelated to DVD studio though. how do you make the spaces between your apps in your dock?

you can download dividers from apple's downloads page or there is a script you can run in terminal. if you message me your email i can send you the script :)
