Huge fan of Odin Sphere and Vanillaware in general. Love the artfull 2D style, and the gameplay looks like a lot of fun.......My only complaint is......why the boobs on the sorceress? It is so unnecessary for them to be jiggling all over the place as she fights. I hate to admit it, but that doesn't help to reinforce the mature quality of the artstyle.

Not sure why some people are bitching about the graphics, the PS3 should be honoured to have such an amazing game from a freakin' awesome game developer. Vanillaware is absolutely the best when it comes to those beautiful, breath taking graphics, really capture's an essence of Japan.

The 3 melee characters are a testament to vanillaware's skill. They're designed with an intimate understanding of what the character archetypes are, and most importantly they all feel REALY DISTINCT FROM ONE ANOTHER

all 3 can be described as "melee hulks", yet all 3 cover that feeling in very different manners.

The Fighter is a tower of iron, he hits with powerful linear blows (power slides and diving thrusts). When he hits the ground he lands like a coil of heavy iron chains.

@empyreanlc the Amazon is muscular and supple, her whole body swings with her axe (beginning with her hips, which were emphasized for this)

The Dwarf is a stocky boulder, he rolls into his attacks. Unlike the Amazon who uses a lot of hip swinging motions, the Dwarf's power comes from his barrel chest and massive arms. When he hits the ground, he BOUNCES!

@empyreanlc They all look different because they MOVE different. Very few games do this because honestly, most people don't notice or care. This sort of detail is for the sake of the art.

Shadow over Mystara had a similar attention to detail. It's one of my favorite games so i'll enjoy Dragon Crown in the same manner.

the graphics looks so beautiful and I love how the game design seems to be towards old-school beat-em-ups a'la DoubleDragon :) OdinSphere and Demon Blade were excelent 2d-games and I cannot wait for this one to hit the stores, and I do mean actual stores and not digital :D
