Elegy died after Henk left. You can actually hear the difference in "Forbidden Fruit"'s songs between the dead and alive Elegy.

Henk did amazing and strangely melodic songs.

He had a truly unique style.

Saw them once in Valencia - 1997 along with Stratovarious. Great memory!

Very sorry that Henk van der Laars never maked a comeback after the terrible shit he'd gone trough. I interviewed him in Eindhoven once, he told that the music industry had deceived him after the last Elegy album. He said to me he wants to make a comeback with the name Elegy, but his plan didn;t worked out as we speak.
