  • I can relate man.. cool vid..

  • For those of you who need some help and support in getting over your alcohol issues, I suggest you visit this website, called "thewillpower . org". I'm not trying to spam or anything, it's a great site that really helped me out a few years ago, and now I'm a better man. God Bless.

  • great video man! im only on my sixth day sober, but i am starting to feel like a human being again. thank you for your words

  • Still sober? Thanks for the upload. All the best!

  • its hard to say, its all relative. the liver can repair itself, so sustained abstienence can undo damages. As for permanent damage- maybe a bottle of whiskey a day for 2 years?- but even then you may heal. You'd have to be a full blown alcoholic over a very long period. Think of it like smoking- have you heard of anyone getting cancer smoking 1 cigarette a week? Im more concerned about brain damage...

  • Alot of you commenting seem to be alcoholic or recovering so can i ask: Ive been drinking twice a week for 4 years, around 6 pints of beer a session on average sometimes more sometimes less. will i have damaged my liver? Im a massive hypochondriac and have stopped binging but should i bother seeing the doctor?

  • @stoxocube18 you sound fine, but would seeing a doctor hurt?

  • @jsr9422 Saw a doctor the other day actually! He said i had no signs of liver disease and didnt even bother refering me for a liver function test, so i assume that's good. Guess i won't worry so much in the future, can i ask tho: how much booze on average would u say it takes to get liver damage?

  • Thank god were sober... it is possible WE can do it a day at a time.

  • day at a time im 9 years clean this year..i love people in recovery!!
