Yes the nutrient solution moves constantly and over and over recycling. I use H202 to help keep it clean but I do change it out about ever other week. I do add nutrients or chemicals if you will but as the fish get bigger the less ill have to use. The fish shit itself feeds the plants that is there job eat and shit I feed them goldfish food
Do you have a pump at the bottom that will pull up those fish turds? Otherwise I would think they would just stay at the bottom. How much water do you use each week if you have to refill it weekly? Are those just goldfish? I can't imagine using any other kind of fish, because goldfish are like the most resilient fish there is.
I'm curious about your greenhouse though, do you have to run water to it constantly? Or are you using the same water over and over? If you do use the same water, wouldn't it go bad? Or is that what the fish are for? Also what do the fish eat? Where do the fish turds go? How many chemicals do you have to use? What is the return on your investment? I know thats a lot of questions but it looks like a cool setup.
