Gundam seed? honestly in my own opion that one sucked, then in destiny it was practically almost the same except it was zaft. Really though, The UC era is the best. But yeah the characters did look cool and the gundams were alright looking but it takes more than that but it takes more than that to make a good gundam series.

Yeah, maybe the storyline is not too interesting compared to the old version but the graphics are much improved. I am not a cartoon freak and just got the Gundam Seed complete set of DVD but not the old version. There are too many Gundam episodes available.

All you need to watch is

the Original Gundam, zeta gundam, and chars counter attack and your all set. And if that hooks you into the UC era then it would be a good idea to check into the side storys of that time line, like 8th ms team, star dust memmories, ZZ gundam, 0080.
