  • @ dcs002~ If you watch the video with your heart instead of your head, I think you might hear at a deeper level of understanding. Everything we have learned in our human experience has come to us via thought. Seeing beyond behavior to the spiritual nature of what is creating it is a place where miracles happen. <3

  • But it this stuff helps you, then far out! Some people simply need a facilitated, validating opportunity to have their own metacognitions or epiphanies. I wish that really were all there was to psychopathology. Genes really do play a role, as does life experience. Nature and nurture are still important. And BTW, prisoners are still people, and most are fully capable of human experience and growth. There are many rehabilitative modalities that work very well with them, but we resist funding them.

  • I have watched a bunch of these Three Principles videos now, and all I've seen is metacognition (thinking about thought), stories of how doing so can change people's lives (which looks like so much promotional material), ambiguity, dramatic pauses as if something important has been said, statements that say little or nothing, promises of miracles and cures, and mid-life crises. What some people call common sense, others call false assumptions. Common sense is often an excuse to avoid questions.
