the sign at 1:01, i was the one who started the paperwork through the Squadron and CE Plus the Base Commander to have this sign made/painted. All Base Signs at that time were Brown.
what memories of Loring, great to see MSgt St. Thomas once again, he was the Kennelmaster when i arrived in March 1980
@k9sargetr So you would know my father then? My dad had also said he was there and part of getting that sign made and put up. Do you mind me asking what your last name is so I could see if he remembers you?
Thank you so much for this video! My father is one of the men in this video. @ 1:26 and 1:29 of the video the African American Security Policeman in the back right is Buck Sgt Raymond Bush. He is also in the video @ 2:02 with his dog Pupa. It brings tears to my family and my eyes everytime we get to see this video. If any of you former 42nd SP's have any pictures that may have him in them would you please be willing to share them with my family? We would be so honored.
I like the shirt too. I wonder what columbus would have to say about it. Loring is not far from me, great vid. It was a very active place once upon a time.
