  • Differing views on tall riders for these bikes. I am 189cm, 6'2" old scale and wondering how you think it would fit. Local Honda dealer in Orange has rude sales staff and doesn't have any in the show room.

  • @TheProf74 Aren't all motorcycle salesmen rude? They certainly are from my experience. This POV has the camera sitting on the tank, so it should look the same regardless of your height.

  • @TheProf74 Have a look at my other videos to see what the POV is like from the helmet. I'm about the same height as you, so it should give you a decent indication.

  • this is a recommendable bike for beginners?

  • @magnumluis89 prob none better

  • Had my 2005 VTR 250 for 18 Mths now... Awesome bike! Take through the Adelaide Hills all the time, handles and keeps up with more expensive bikes. I'm looking to upgrade, but I reckon the VTR will stay in my stable as a CLASSIC, because one day they will be!

  • I thought those roads looked familiar, im in melbourne too!

  • hey dude i notice you mentioned you put a 42t sprocket in, what did it have originally? im thinking of getting one of these VTRS myself sounds like they are a great all rounder

  • hahaha, thanks for the reply. I actually bought one about a week ago now. I love it! All i really want for it is to harness the sweet note and make it louder with a staintune!! Also, can you let me know where you got that smokey screen you have on yours? And does it do much for keeping the wind off your chest?

  • Are you on your L's mate? How do you like the VTR? im considering one at the moment but cant decide over this bike or a Suzuki GS500F. Any thoughts?

  • @AlMedic2000 Mate the VTR 250 is the best leaners bike hands down! Great comuter, cheap on fuel $17= 300kms, can do long distance hauls ive done 1000km trips in 2 days, gets up to 160kms, put a 42 tooth rear sprocket in. Torque is great, beats my mates ninja all the time!

  • Personally can not speak highly enough of Honda motorcyles. Either would be a good choice, but personally I'd go for the 250. At nearly 100mpg (2.8 ltrs per 100) it's very economical.

  • Which year 250 is this? I'm just starting to get in to bikes at the moment and considering the CB400 or the a pearl white VTR250. Very much over the long haul to work which normally would take 20 mins now taking just under an hour in to Collins St, so looking at purchasing a commuter with a high resale as would look at upgrading at a later point. How has your experience been with the VTR so far?
