Farcry 2 does have it's fair share of dumb AI, some times your enemies run around like chickens and get stuck behind stuff, many fps games has these problems. And Im not saying that I don't like far cry 2, I think it's awesome :D

I play Crysis regularly on Delta difficulty and I NEVER Had any of the AI bugs I see on Youtube. I even tried approaching the areas from directions you're not supposed to come from and avoiding triggers. The AI doesn't need a special trigget to be hostile. They are hostile all the time.
Also, you can put an ignore player command in the console.
crysis AI is actually very very good. The video here exists as the player slid down into an area which is not suppposed to be approached from that direction. The problem here exists Not because of poor AI coding but more because of the fact the map designers did not design the map in a way to make it impossible to enter this area without going through the 'correct route'. people need to stop pulling the game apart for any silly things like this. IT IS NOT POOR AI!!!!!!!!!
This is a fresh install, freshly patched, on a clean updated XP installation. This is just crummy game coding. This kind of stuff can be seen in several vids here, and in review comments. A real bummer, I was anticipating this game as much as anyone as the successor to far cry, but the bugs in it ruin the experience. I'm sure crytek will address them, just too bad it was released this way.

You are a muppet mate, the only reason the game is showing glitches is because you slid down a mountain face that is not supposed to be the way to go (hence a massive mountain face as more of a mental wall than a pysical), The game is not intened for you to go that way. It happened to me. If you go the proper route this never happens. dont make crysis look like it is a bad game when it is technologically far beyond any game out now or in the next couple of years.
this is just a flow-graph fail made in the editor, sh*t happens, this (quite epic xD) fail has nothing to do with AI

the characters dont have a set path, they use their "artificial intelligence"
and intelligence is processed on the spot....therefore it doesnt have to happen on everyones version of the game.
anyways its not like its a one off, look at all the other glitches.
some morons are giving me thumbs down even though the ton of proof is on utube.
oh yh some fanboys gonna say every single one is faked....and ill end up with more thumbs down.

no, i only play crysis (some others here and there)
even if it takes a day:play it with only a pistol, or by never being seen or getting hit in delta.
and no it is not boring, as you die almost instantly if a chi-ten or an alien fires at you.

Don't play on the easier settings, the grenade indicator was a dead give away, the AI is never anywhere near that bad on highest difficulty.
