Thanks! The picture scene, which is actually the same scene used for the beginning and end of the montage, happened during the affair. Marlena looked at and then put away her old mementos from the time she was married to John, in an effort to suppress her feelings for him. Didn't work. :)

I love this song (hehe, Celine woot!), and the montage is incredible. Just captures all the emotions and the complexity of the story. Because Marlena really DIDN'T want to be in love with him. She just was.
