Screamo is a Rawer, slightly more melodic, way of playing Hardcore Punk!! BFMV - POP metalcore (not screamo) BMTH - Deathcore/metalcore (not screamo) Underoath - Posthc/metalcore (not screamo!!) Real Screamo: Make me - but it felt so real The Kodan Armada - Cops CTTS - Patchwork Neurology

And im 99% sure you all misunderstand hardcore as a raw, drum kickass fast paced songs.. in fact "hardcore" is not a genre by itself: "hardcore punk" IS. Hardcore punk is a more aggressive way to play punk. Punk is a "tropical" (?), sort of careless loose subgnre of rock, usually without all those melodic guitar solos. Like EARLY blink-182, when their pop influnces weren't so obvious and were more "punk". then there's pop punk, which is INFLUENCED by pop (like green day and later blink-182).

LOL, this was all messed up exactly as "emo" genre (btw, mcr, dashboard conf., blink-182, underoath, tbs and that stuff AREN'T emo), screamo is not about just screaming ¬¬, just as emo(tional hardcore) is not about moaning and crying in pop influenced post hardcore songs with screams about how much you hate your ex or how your heart is broken!! emotional hardcore evolved from hardcore punk and straight edge hardcore and screamo evolved from emo (neither one of those two genres evolved to this)
