  • PLUTO HAS 3 MOONS DRILL IT INTO UR HEAD

  • Great. i'm so fascinated with PLANET Pluto too no matter what scientific said.

I hope the planet will show surprises when the New Horizons mission arrive to Pluto.

Space is for everyone and not for scientist of the world .Who cares what they said.

  • @beardguy45 Thank you for listening and commenting!

  • the god pluto with his servant charon

  • @Adrian206salazar Four so far. It may be the KBO with the most moons! ;-) The main reason it isn't a planet is it can't sweep up material near it's orbit. It's too smallt. Plus orbital inclination - more like a comet and other KBOs (Eris, Haumea, ect.) If Pluto was reclassified as a planet, then Eris has to be a planet. It's bigger Pluto. So, either eight planets or ten. It couldn't be nine anymore no matter which way you cut it. :-) Thanks for listening!

  • 6 moons wtf? I was sure there was only 3 o.O

  • @TMtricks Read the entire description and you will see why I came up with that title. :-)

  • @RobAstor Ahh, i thought there were 6 moons for real :D

  • @TMtricks Possibly. ;-) Number 4 was discovered just weeks ago. Thanks for listening!

  • The 4th moon of Pluto has just been discovered so you could well be correct.

  • @Jrider72 I read that two days ago! LOL I did write to NASA to tell them I have the track ready. :-D

  • @RoyalUniverse777 Yes, that theory has been around for a very long time. I also remembering seeing one that pinned it as a former moon of Saturn. I guess we'll never really know. ;-)

  • Great presentation, very informative. I guess its not inconcievable that Pluto and/or Charon might occasionally capture a Kuiper belt object and pick up a new sattelite?

  • @crocfme Thanks for taking time to listen comment!

  • AWESOME VIDEO! THANKS! THUMBS UP! I Can't wait for New Horizons' findings! I like Pluto! I know that it is small, but like they say, "Size doesn't matter." I'd say it has features like that of Neptune's 1 "Major Moon", Triton, my favorite moon! It has Liquid Nitrogen Geysers all over the southern surface, and a strange bluish-green "cantaloupe terrain" near the equator. The whole moon hasn't been mapped. Only 2/3 of one side, and that was by Voyager 2! They should send a mission/probe to Triton!

  • @KarbineKyle Thanks for listening and commenting! I was up all night the raw data was coming back from Neptune when Voyager 2 passed through watching on a local access cable station carrying the NASA broadcast. Still got a VHS tape somewhere of news clips. I always sort of pegged Pluto to be a lot like Triton myself. Now I'm wondering if it will be like a huge fractured comet-like body or something similar. Maybe even have a swarm of debris around it. Just a few more years until 2015!

  • awesome track,

  • @MoCawk Thank you for listening and commenting. :-)

  • @mcplanetearth Okay. Well, hope you liked the music. ;-)

  • intresting vid.

when new horizons gets there in 2015 i think? it will be interesting to see what's there

  • @benthfc977 Yes, 2015 and I can't wait to see the new discoveries. Voyager 1 was supposed to swing by Pluto, however, JPL wanted a closer look at Titan instead, so, Pluto fell by the wayside. After Pluto, I'm hoping there's a few other objects the craft might pass to gather more knowledge.

  • @RobAstor yupp...there might be some interesting things there

i'd prefer to have seen pluto than titan if i was alive then...

  • @RobAstor I just can't wait 5 more years! :-)

  • @niels241 I know how you feel!

  • Thanks for the opportunity. I have a feeling when the New Horizons probe arrives at Pluto in 2015 we are in for a few surprises. There is something odd about this dwarf planet.

  • @Jrider72 Yes, I think there will be many. If there's six moons total, remember I've been saying it for several years! LOL And, I already composed the perfect score. ;-) Thanks for listening and commenting.

  • Pluto will always be Pluto. Its just gone from being a planet to a dwarf planet. I really don't understand why people have got so upset about it. Mainly Americans, who think because an American discovered it (Clyde Tombaugh) they have some kind of patriotic duty to defend its planet status. When Ceres, the largest known asteroid was first discovered it was initially also thought of as a planet. Now we know better as is the case with Pluto which is just one of many objects in the Kuiper Belt.

  • @Jrider72 I agree, through more recent discoveries, Pluto was mis-classified as a planet upon its discovery. I'm American and I have no problem at all with it being a dwarf planet/Kuiper Belt object. :-) Thanks for listening and for commenting!

  • This song would go great with a deep, deep Mandelbrot zoom.

  • Yes, it would. :-) I was once told it moved in time with the thoughts of trees. Thanks for listening and commenting!

  • As I know Pluto is not Solar System planet anymore but I absolutely disagree with it. Pluto must be counted no matter how small it is. Moreover, I think Planet X (10th planet) exists

  • The reasons for demoting are mainly that Pluto is in a very inclined -- 17 degrees -- and elliptical orbit -- more like a comet -- than the other planets follow. Still an interesting body, none the less. :-) As for Planet X, time will tell. I think it would be an incredible discovery. Thanks for listening and commenting!

  • im interested in knowing more about pluto and charon.got any ideas for me to seek into?

  • Sent a message. Hope it helps! Thanks for listening. :-)
