I connect a jack male-male to my amp and to my sound card of my computer (line in).

and to record, I use audacity

I have change my settings but it still sounds good for some metallica songs:

amp: bass:2 mid: 3 treble: 10

pedal: high: 12 o'clock

low: 3 o'clock

mid freq: 12 o'clock

middle: 10 o'clock

dist: 9 o'clock
