@nromando I am aware of that, but I call it MK9 because it is the 9th official game in the series and to differentiate it from the first Mortal Kombat, the first arcade game. (I understand that it is probably called that to signify it being a reboot, but it is still the 9th game.)

@ShadowSkyHawk If you look at Cyber-Zero, right when she lands the final punch, he circuitry starts going haywire. Consider the fact that that's what's keeping him alive as a cyborg.

Really, if you pay attention, none of these deaths are farfetched.

Also, Johnny was kept alive because the devs were sick of the "Johnny Cage dies and comes back in every game" thing. I mean, the guy was the main hero of MK: A for fuck's sake.

You did a GREAT job of protecting Earthrealm.

Though, when you think about it, the warriors needed to die. Armageddon was caused by there being too many warriors in the various Realms of MK's universe. At the very least, if Armageddon does occur, Raiden made sure that Shao Khan doesn't win Blaze's tournament.
