This is actually one of the MST3K movies I found surprisingly watchable, mostly in its concept. In it's execution.....whoever did Estevez's makeup committed a crime.

Hate to say this, but while I do applaud the reappearance of Joel, this is one of the few MST3K episodes that frightens me. Not the out-of-theater segments, thankfully, but the movie itself.

@darkcoeficient If you've never seen any of the earlier episodes, then it will make no sense and be hard to follow. Look up some of the ones from earlier seasons. Some of my favorites are: Cave Dwellers; Invasion of the Spiders; Colossus vs. the Headhunters; Manos, the Hands of Fate; Jack Frost; and Agent for H.A.R.M. There are some great Hercules and Godzilla ones, too. The earliest ones have Joel, and the later ones have Mike.

I used to watch MST3K on TV when they aired it on the Sci-Fi channel years ago. I was very young then, like junior high I think. It broke my heart when the show was canceled.

It wasn't until just recently that I stumbled upon these episodes here on youtube and I can't get enough. This show always makes me feel better when I'm in a bleak mood.

I guess that's mostly because I love them so damn much, but on the practical side, each episode is an like, 2 hours, so getting a large playlist together and hitting play means watchable video for countless hours.
