The 25/12 was celebrated as a holiday in many cultures, nowhere does it even say that Jesus was born on the 25th as it was a deliberate way to mask a pagan festival when converting. It annoys me that people get upset about losing the so called "roots" of Xmas under the impression that it belongs to only them.
