Is this game really that great?

I mean, I love FE6, 7, 8,but I can´t understand this game´s(FE4) battle system :S.

if you've played all those games, then you should already understand the battle system of #4. Only difference is there's no Rescue unit ability or self-use healing items. The story is actually has more depth here cause it revovles multiples characters of holy descent with their unique holy weapon. AND the fun part is you get to mix and match parents for 2nd generation characters.

You see, the thing was that I didn´t know where to find the english patch, that´s why I couldn´t understand what was going on, because I couldn´t figure out why sometimes I was getting double attacks and stuff.

For what I´ve played so far, I can say that I absolutely love this game xD.

You forgot to mention that characters can't trade, everyone has their own item stockpile, and you can't double hit or critical without a skill.

@rydendm also Most weapons have 50/50 uses and you can repair them. i like that type of function, because so you don't waste money on weapons.

THE ROM AND THE .IPS FILE MUST HAVE THE EXACT SAME FILENAME (excluding their extension, of course).

Just make sure both files are in the same directory, and when you open the ROM your emulator should automatically patch the translation patch.  If not, check your emulator folder and see if there is an "ips folder" or anything (this happened to my Snes9x) and if there is just copy the .ips translation file into that folder.

Hope I helped, I can't stand the thought of anyone going without this.

Google "Serenes Forest". They have a full translation patch in their "General" section.

I downloaded the ips file but how do you extract the file and patch it to the rom????????????????

No. It's an .ips file. Look up Zophar's Domain on google and you should be able to find a patching program to install the patch.
