@jded7 The point of these lessons are to improve your musicianship and the focus is on learning notation, I am doing my best to ween people away from the tabs and making this any "simpler" would just be spoon-feeding guitarists. Have you downloaded the eBook? If not it would be a great idea and from there you can use that as your guide. thanks :)
very musical, what is nice is if someone wants to still play canon rock this breaks down the main melodic ideas by going straight to the source material (almost like a music history lesson) then by playing canon rock it can be really helpful to know the origin of the song.
Hi jazper, thanks for the question. This may be a hard thing to do as Dan is already slowing the pace down considerably and trying to maintain correct hand position so that while viewing the video you get a better sense of how to actually play the melody.
We suggest you download the tab/eBook if have not done that already as the tab will guide you through the process of knowing which note to play and make it easier for you.
Can you make it really simple and name the strings and frets for each note?
