  • Great tips! I have a young child also and it is very hard to try and fix up my hair and tend to my child at the same time

  • could u show me how's your hair naturally please ? that would help :)

  • I tried it and it works so well! Im not really that confident in myself and how i look... but when i came to school the next day i got complements from all of my friends and they said i looked pretty! :) Thank you so much, you dont know how much this means to me... <3

  • @oOFallenStarOo That is so fantastic to hear. I am so glad it helped you x

  • Thank you so so much!!!!! Xxxxxxxx

  • you remind me of keira knightley ((: !

  • Thanks for this video, it helps girls like us. I also use the product MIXED CHICKS. Ever hear of it? Oh my gosh it's a godsend for frizzy hair.

  • wow good tips!

i have really thick hair too and i just dont know how to tame it! i should try this method

  • Can't wait to try this. I have the same type hair and the same cut. Yours looks beautiful!! thanks for posting this.

  • @70ggirl1 Let me know what happens x

  • thaaankk you! I just tried it tonight because I wanted some shine and it looks absolutely stunning for once!

  • @Kirei3173 BRILLIANT! I'm so pleased it works for you. You'll be hooked now xx

  • omg, uve got really thick hair, lucky u!!

  • this really worked! :D thank you!

  • i have horse hair as well. It's slightly wavy, but mostly frizz. it takes on a lions mane appearance. However, at the moment,my hair is in a long bob. several bad haircuts forced me to chop it off and start again. :( I might try this only putting my bun down at the nape of my neck. ??? hope it works.

  • @rdml1125 It should de-frizz it and give you a little body where you have the bun. I hope it works xx

  • LOL

  • exactly my type of hair !

I will absolutely try this out

  • @TheType1love same here!!

  • when i wash my hair, blow dry it or let it dry naturally it goes all dry and really frizzy. i have short hair (a bit above my shoulders) and my hair is really annoying. its hard to brush when it is dry, VERY frizzy. Any solutions? PLS HELP! thnx

  • so that used to be the only thing that made my hair look decent, but now its not working any more, whenever i do that, it just ends up looking shorter in length and the frizz goes wild with no curls whatsoever, so i end up looking like a caveman, it seems like my hair have gotten softer from my most recent shampoo, do you think that makes sense? because i want my ringlets back! D:

  • @suwwan1994 YES! I think that makes sense, sometimes it happens to me, it works fine and then suddenly it stops working. I find it's either the shampoo/conditioner OR how dry it is when I put it up, it has to be perfect doesn't it! I defo think you should try swapping shampoo again x Let me know

  • Thanks a lot:)

  • but when my hair dries it gets all frizzy

  • THANK YOU SOOO MUCH!!! finally, a tutorial made exactly for my hair :D

not curly, not straight, just wavy and EXTREMELY frizzy xD

i'm gonn try it, wish me luck :)

i'll report back on how it went :D

  • thank you bbes xx

  • Thanks! I used this and it worked! Do you guys know any good anti - frizz serums that don't dry out the hair? Your tutorial was great! I use the technique all the time now!

  • thanks, will try it !

  • >_< I have stupid frizzy horse hair but it can be exceptionally soft due to also being oily. Its an aweful combo. I want to achieve the long sleek healthy look. but atm I have mid length thick REALLY thick hair with loads of layers, I know thats probably why its so thick. Im having trouble with the new growth sprouting everywhere making it frizzy, andyidea what I should do to stop the frizz attacks? especially when its humid I cant even put it in a bun its so aweful

  • Ahhhh I'm suffering from curly/flicky/frizzy fringe...heeelp!! How do I sort it?? xXx

  • ill try that tonight lol wish me luck!!

  • @XxLiLGiGgLeZzxX Did it work? Love to know.

  • @oakoscar100 so far im impressed lol it really is working my hair is under control and pretty friz fry. there is just some crzy peices in the back i must have missed tho. thanks :)

  • I luv your hair when its down after the bun ..

  • @lololelloz Thank you

  • I've never heard this term"horse hair" but ... that is my hair exactly. My hair is super thick, super coarse, not straight, not wavy, but kind of curly ... the bad kind of curly and I had felt the only way of my hair looking normal would be to iron it. Thank you so much for this video. I am trying this method tonight!!!!

  • @Ilovebeingamomsomuch Did it work? I'd love to know!

  • So, how often do you wash your hair?

  • @fungirl227 Every other day usually.

  • So your just supposed to get your hair damp but not sopping wet??

  • @jobyrox101 That's right, otherwise it wont dry. It needs to be 99% dry when you put it in the bun for this to work.

  • @AmandaBee7 Uh, everybody has an accent, LOL.

  • your baby is crying..

  • @Satii88 no, really?

  • @oakoscar100 don't be a bitch..damn.

  • @shermanandcarl huh?

  • @oakoscar100 what type of shappo and conditiner and the other product i did not see it well

  • i like your accent

  • I have really frizzy hair and this seems to work wonderfully! However... I have heard that it is bad to tie your hair when it is wet? Doesnt it get stinky or something?

  • @beluuful Well, maybe if you had very thick hair and you tied it for a long time it wouldn't dry in the middle and could possibly go mouldy or something I guess? With this style you hair is VERY nearly dry when you tie it up so that, by morning it is dry and your ringlets have been formed. That's the key, putting it up when it is 99% dry. Thanks for your comment x

  • @oakoscar100 Thanks a lot! =)

  • thankyou I will try it but i dont understand why you put the leave in conditioner only on the roots. Isnt it the dry ends that need it too?

  • @hot4inxs I meant the ends! Sorry ! xxx

  • omg i suck at making buns !

  • I tried it nd it was awesome but it works with any shampoo nd my hair isn't frizzy that much but I just wanted to try this anyways nd my hair turned poofy nd curly it was awesome!!

  • @AmandaBee7 everyone has an accent lol :LL

  • your hair is gorgeous but I couldn't watch the whole video because your baby was annoying me.

  • are you british? i love your accent!?

  • @carlybytheway Thanks1 Yes, I'm from Essex in the UK

  • It works with all shampoos? Or just Aussie? Thankss!

  • @anepazxx I just use this shampoo because it calms my frizzies. The style has worked in the past when I have used different shampoo.

  • Comment removed

  • all i can say is, thank you.

  • "this may not look like anything special for people who have normal hair but for people who have frizzy hair its pretty cool" THANK YOUUUUUU finally someone who understands us :)

  • Have got to try thanks

  • Really nice video..very useful..I don't like to use straighteners and curlers....so this a very good way!!

  • when go to sleep the bottom of my hair gets really thin yhe top gets REALLY POOFY and the ends r REALLY FRIZZY so i end up weting my hair blow drying it 2 get rid of tht shape but the blow drying makes my hair frizzy all over and im black so weting my hair every day will make it dry and i get relaxer but it makes my hair LOOK thin and when i have 2 watch my hair again it just gets frizzy AGAIN! PLEASE HELP!

  • I wish my hair was your kind of frizzy! Mine is the most frizzy right around the hair line, so pulling back my hair into ponytails and the like doesn't work. I'm glad you're able to get yours so nice, though. It looks pretty. =)

  • @AmandaBee7 If you think I have an accent then I would think that you have one too!

  • @oakoscar100 Wow, awesome point! I had a friend in georgia I used to talk to...I was born and raised in WA, and he would always say I had the cutest weirdest yankee accent, which I thought was super weird because I can't hear my accent...Can you hear yours??

  • @YellowCheapers Well, I'm not the person you asked, but I think I can explain it a bit. The thing with accents is that to you, your accent sounds normal because it's the way you speak. It's also probably the way everyone around you sounds, mostly, so you don't hear it.

However, people from someplace else will definitely notice it on you because you don't sound like they do. So, if you go to England, you hear everyone there with an English accent, and they hear you with an American accent. Fun!

  • @thelaynie Great point! Wouldn't it be fun to get used to another accent and not hear your own for a long while and then hear your own and the accent in it? I wonder if that would work...Like if one became mute and moved from the pacific northwest to england for a year, then heard one's own voice on a recording or something after a year of not hearing one's own way of speaking...I wonder if an accent would be heard you know?

  • THIS HAS ACTUALLY CHANGED MY LIFE! i no longwer spend 2 hours every morning straightening the frizz out ! thanks for sharing :)

  • @Lickyourmelon wow. Well, that is great to hear! I'm pleased for you x

  • does this stay with you for days?

  • @Rukeya89 Probably............. until you wash your hair/wash all of the product out again

  • @Rukeya89 Like 3mmerz said, it will stay until you wash it again x

  • I have like reaaally frizzy hair and i live in a very humid and hot country and nothing seems to help!! And hairdresser always find my hair a chore to manage it. Omg.....

  • thanks!!!! totally works!!!! love love love it. also try apple cider vinegar rinse after you condition your hair. acv adds shine & tones down the frizz.

  • thanks!!!! totally works!!!! love love love it.

  • great vid I am frizzy like you, mine comes out like this sometimes but its always still wet in the back :( Ill give it another go

  • @chizoioioi You just have to keep on trying until you work out the best time to twist. You'll get it. Good Luck!

  • i no what u mean...

  • i do this too!

  • So I just tryed this out but unfortunately it doesnt work much with me..Maybe I didn't use right cosmetic or I did something wrong but I just look like some strange kind of sheep again..lol

  • I totally agree with you. I also suffer from thick, coarse hair, and by the way, my hair is not damage, neither have flyaways or it's burn, but it is soooooo thick, is not straight, not curly but in between. I use hair salon shampoos, but my hair seems to laught at it, so I do the same as you do, after i wash my hair, and it is almost dry, i twist it until next day, and it is a little better.

  • you are gorgeous

  • does aussie sydney smooth work too?

  • From 2:36 the baby sounds really evil. Nice video, thank you. :]

  • I discovered this method on my own as well but i use an organic shampoo and conditioner to reduce my risks of cancer (im at a really high level right now ). My hair is extremely coarse and thick becuase i'm a mix of german and filipino so ive got curly AND frizzy hair. I dont put any special leave in stuff after i wash it, just an olive oil mist that makes the ends less broken looking.

  • LOVE your hair and accent, plus your hella beautiful :D thanks soooooooooo much for this tutorial :P my hair looks like i stuck my finger in a light socket like all the time :/ so this helped :D

  • @tifaniee wait then what does the aussie thatt shes talking about look like?

  • Sorry i didn't understand what you said- could you please repeat it in typing?

  • wow, my hair has the same texture and color, except it's shorter and i'm a man. what a coincidence of destiny!

  • did you mean leave in on the ends only?

  • Finally someone who understands horse hair - no definable waves, lots of frizz.. This was a huge help. I tried sleeping with braids in my hair too, which worked really well. Thanks so much!

  • thx so much :)

  • I have my bun in cross your fingers!

I have layers and the same hair its so weird! When I wake up I really just want to stuff it into a ponytail and go but I hope this works!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • hi :) yesterday i saw this video and i tried this at night before sleeping , and when i woke up today it was amazing :)... that really worked! thx for the tip... :) and yeah ur hair is amazing!!! they are not frizzy! if u see my hair u will be thankful to God bout ur hair!! haha! anyway thx for the video! and i loved ur accent ;) (twinklingteen)

  • i have curly hair and straight hair at the same time XD and its super frizzzy!!!!!

  • thanxx Soo muchh im gonna try iht nxt time. cause i hate havin to strate mi hair every time.

  • usually i wash my hair at night and when it's still wet, i put it in a braid and then sleep on it. in the morning, its a little damp when i let the braid out, but it just goes into little curls and there is a tiny bit of frizz in between, but your video tempts me to try something new! i'm just glad there's finally a video where you don't have to blow dry or straighten your hair, just let it airdry! (:

  • wow, this is the exact same thing i do :) good job spreading this tip around

  • Aussie test on animals...

  • @Bunniefly From what I have read elsewhere I don't believe they do, even though they are owned by Proctor and Gamble. Here is a link from their website via Proctor and Gamble that would seem to suggest they use animal testing on medical products only. Whether this is the case or not I don't know. I'm going to e-mail them now for a definitive answer.

  • Sorry, it wont let me post a link. If you search for animal testing through the Aussie site it comes up as the first result.

  • i luv ur accent

  • i have hair nearly just like yours, and you're right that does work, but i have to say... you are beautiful, you have such a beautiful face that it doesn't matter how frizzy your hair is :)

  • i, too, would always put my hair in a tight bun-but because i have really long indian hair-i would just have to comb it out, completely straight and pretty wet and just tie it up for the day and comes out beautifully straight

  • U look like Kirsten stewart

  • I must say I am a hair dresser and your videos are riduculously easy and helping me loads for easy up dos for my clients... thank you so much!!! they are aweome! Where are you from by chance?

  • @Pbatista4 Thank you for letting me know. I am really pleased to know that the videos are helping you out. I'm sure, being a hairdresser you will be able to add a lot to these styles! I'm from the UK btw x

  • @oakoscar100 yea my clients want to keep away from thermal products sometimes and plus they like to be able to reproduce the style I give them and this makes that possible. So i can only thank you. :) I stayed in manchester for a while before ... but england was to cold and rainy for me lol.. so I went to australia...haha have a good one doll and thanks again.

  • I must say I am a hair dresser and your videos are riduculously easy and helping me loads for easy up dos for my clients... thank you so much!!! they are aweome! Where are you from by chance?

  • Hi, I have hair that is very frizzy. It is long and goes down to my midback. Though it is thick, it is a bit thinner at the end. I saw your video and am very grateful for it, but as much as I wanted this method to work...it didn't. Any suggestions? About how dry (percentage) should my hair be??

  • @sagesdream Don't you know that you're not supposed to pick a baby up every single time that he/she cries? It spoils them..and then you can never, ever put them down.

  • Do you live in a humid area?

I'm going to try this tonight but I live in a relatively humid area so I don't want my hair to get frizzy as soon as I step out the door.

  • @danifloriduh oh let me know how you go. No, I don't live in a humid area. I guess that could have an effect. the ringlets will be quite tight though. I reckon if you maybe use and tiny bit of serum you might get away with it! let me know x

  • I love that Shampoo[: haha, And I don't believe it's from australia[x but.

    It's a very good product[:

  • 15 years ago I used Aussie hair products, but the irony is that we (aussies) havent been able to buy them in Australia since around 1990. That is thanks to the American company, Proctor and Gamble, that feel there isnt a market here for "Aussie" hair products.

Hence the very name of the product is a big misnomer.

  • @ozjenva That's rubbish isn't it? I guess many would assume it was made in Australia due to the name when in fact the name simply eludes to the source of the ingredients. I hate it when things like that happen.

  • @oakoscar100 Yep, it sucks. What's more annoying is that they have a great product, but dont market it here anymore. I think they claim they add some ingredient that comes from Kangaroo paw, which is very likely another false claim, I cant find anything on the net about Roo paw used for anything other than a plant in the garden.

  • Thanks! I'm going to try those products out! By the way, you're very beautiful! You look like Liv Tyler.

  • I have hair *exactly* like you describe and I've fought with it forever! Yours looks awesome compared to mine! I am SO going to try this but am wondering - do you wash/condition/leave-in conditioner and do this fresh every night? Or do you get a couple of days out of it and just re-bun at night? Thanks!

  • @grifence definately re bun, washing every day = pooof for me xx

  • I know your pain! No matter what I do, my hair always ends up with frizz and has poofed 5 inches away from my head. Thanks for the video! :)

  • My hair is EXTREMELY frizzy and it drives me INSANE... I've felt the only way to get it at least DECENT-looking would be to pull it tightly back, so I'm hoping this works! Thanks (: Btw, your hair is gorgeous.

  • thanks , very helpful (: my hair is naturally frizzy/puffy/wavy - its just a nightmare and I can never get it smooth but this worked great !! thankyouu :)

  • @codycodemaster o.O What the fu....

  • Does twisting your hair into a bun make it kinda curly? just curious :)

  • @marisalauren97 Yes, it makes lovely natural looking ringlets.

  • thanku so much!!! i have exactly the same type of hair as u (not strait not curly but frizzy) and i hope it works!!

  • research the Curly Girl method. It will change the way you style your hair and it will define your beautiful curls. Everybody with wave in their hair can get soft curls with no heat. You will have to get products that work with your natural texture but you wont have to spend more than 8 bucks to start. You only need a clarifying shampoo to start, then a cheap suave conditioner for cowashing and a nice conditioner to leave in, and LA looks sports gel to scrunch. Put products on soaking wet hair!

  • Thanks so much for the tips!!!

Who's the cute littles girl's voice in the bg?

    Your daughter?

    She's cute!

  • Thanks so much for the tip

  • thanks ,great tips, mine is super frizzy too and it drives me crazy, really liked your video ,gonna try the products too .

  • @codycodemaster from 1.14 - 1.36. get your hair as if you are putting it into a high ponytail then start to twist in either direction until the hair goes back onto itself and forms a swirl ontop of your head. Secure with band. Volia. ;)

  • @pinetree200 Thank you. i am very glad it workd for you x

  • this will actually break your hair, never ever use a band on your hair a clippy and dont stretch it out like she did

  • @bestvaluemaui Well, I suppose it COULD break your hair if you used the wrong type of band. the bands I use are soft nylon and don't snap hair. I'm afraid with thick and long hair clips will not hold the weight but, of course everyone should do what they think best. This is just the way I get my hair like this. Thanks for your comment

  • This video would have been much better if the baby hadn't been crying...

  • @Gainsborough07 Hmmmm, well unfortunately she doesn't have a 'mute' button

  • you remind me of lollipop 26

  • You're very pretty! :D

And you're baby sounds sooo cute!

  • You're very beautiful,

    and I like yours hair!

You're baby sounds the most cutest baby eeeeeeeevvvvvvvvvvvvvver!

  • HUGS!!!!!!!! YOU SAVED MY LIFE!

  • OMG! I do the same thing and it works for me as well only sometimes i dont like how big my hair can still get. maybe cause i usually tie it up when its basically dry I will try to do it when i my hair is not completely dry and see if that was the problem. Youre very beautiful btw

  • Im a guy and my hair isn't quit so long..any suggestions on how to get rid of frizz for medium length hair..Im letting it grow so that I can have it layered in long layers eventually but the frizz is annoying..Im aiming for the style johnny depp had in the movie the legend of sleepy hollow but don't know if I can take much more of this puffy frizzy hair lol..When I neglect to wash it for like 3 days it lays down..but id rather wash it lol.

  • @ahhGroovymangroovy Okay, you can kind of do the same 'bun' thing but do 2. One either side of your head, if your hair is too short fro that then try four, two above and two below. You will not get ringlets as you would if your hair was longer but you will get rid of the pouf and will have nice waves a la Mr Depp

  • @ahhGroovymangroovy USe a clarifying shampoo to get all the junk out of your hair, then shampoo as sparsely as possible no more than 2 to 3 times per week. Learn to cowash, and get a nice conditioner without silicones for leaving in. One usually rinses out the conditioner completely. DONT. Rinse by letting the water fall on your hair like a waterfall :D that way some conditioner will be left on your hair, combating frizz.

  • wow great vid thats so awesome thanks!

  • Agh

    Your like 30.

    But you're pretty.

And you have a cute accent :D

  • BUT? Well, thank you.....I guess. Don't worry you'll get to this ripe old age soon enough. Right, now where did I put my false teeth and zimmer? ;)

  • @oakoscar100 haha you not old at all 30 isn't old!!

  • skittles, you are a retard.

  • nice accent...lol :D

  • You look like Angelina Jolie + Liv Tyler mixed together :p

    Great video!

  • you HOT

  • Thanks for the tip oak. I'll definitely give it a try...

  • You are so beautiful!

  • THANK YOU VERY MUCH!!

  • i havn't tried it yet but for mi hair it looks very convincing. Lately ive been straightening it and im scared ill hurt mi hair after a while so im gonna give this a shot.. Thx alot!

  • my hair is exactly how you describe yours!!! and it's very fine, not thick at all...

  • i did this.. with the aussie stuff.. and i have a frizzy style which cant be worn down.. is your hair dry naturally??

    it looks very silky.

  • this is great!

  • hi i have very very long hair, it goes down to my butt. my hair tends to get frizzy as well. i have a tip for you. instead of using conditioner, i recommend you use a really good salon hair mask. notice in the salons, they never use conditioners for you after they wash your hair, they always use hair mask and put your head in this huge heat thingy. hair mask works better than conditioners. your hair will feel really soft and will tame down a bit. n you can do your almost dry bun magic!

  • Comment removed

  • you look like a combination of liv tyler and angelina jolie. ur beautiful! and i think ur hair looked really nice after you did the bun

  • I knew this already but after a while I open it, my hair just gets back to the regular horse hair type, it;s so unfair I want to leave my hair loose but I can't...

  • If this happens to me I put it back in the bun for a bit whenever I can. Like when i am driving, and then I'll take it out when I arrive. I don't know if you have tried it. i suppose because you hair is heavy and thick the style is dropping out.
