How to fix the problem: Make it more like a 401(K) system that you can own, watch grow over a number of years and then draw down on when you decide you want to retire instead of when the government decides you want to retire. This is how it is done in Chile and it works!!! Private enterprise has proven time and again to be MUCH MORE EFFICIENT than government.
