Yeah cool, you can do a few flips, I can't do that, but I will ask you this something.

What application would any of these flips have in a situation such as say, a mugging?  You might look like a badass, but while you're flipping in the air, I can easily slip behind and take your knees. It is impressive, but why practice to show off what you can do in only a handful of situations?

i would say it comes closest to "Capoeira"

search it in wiki, you'll learn quickly

If u like it, i can only say: search on Capoeira and Wushu.

those are the 2 martial arts who come (in my opinion) closest to the moves they show in this vid.

Use youtube & limewire & ... all u can think of to check out video's.

i've done gymnastics for 5 years, had to give it up because i was moving to another country, (hvent done it in like 3 years now) and thinking of going back, (i use to do ring, acrobatics (not like this 1, more of a balance) high jumps, etc)

Yes. "Bas Rutten" also started at his 20's practicing martial arts (not muay thai, but kickboxing combined with groundfighting & grappling i think) & he was so fanatic & happy & all exited about the sport that in a matter of years he begot the title "King Of Pancrase".

PS: atm im finishing my education (toolmaker) and after that i'll go to the bundeswehr (german army)...after THAT i'll try to become a weaponsmith and then (i think) i'll finally have time to start with muay thai :D
