Who cares about mistakes? The world's greatest pianists have all made numerous mistakes! Considering this pianist's age, his technic may become more adroit, through sweat, tears and years...but he is playing most musically!
Does he seek to become "the best in the world", or simply one of many wonderful pianists who can move us to tears? If we're looking for the best, and find it, then we deprive ourselves of so much in terms of contrasting yet valid interpretations.
Beautiful!! You're incredibly talented. :) Great job bringing out the melody in the middle section. That part is very difficult to get up to speed! aahhh just... perfect. :)
nice playing...mistakes happen...cant really account for that...even the best make a few...
even though youre probably a better player than me, some advice, if you want it...i thought the first section was played at a rather fast tempo...slow it down a touch and really bring out the melody, since it sets the tone for the rest of the piece...
That was excellent. Great tempo. Sounds like you have been listening to Van Cliburn. Only a couple of small mistakes. You should record it at home, where you can get it perfect, and get rid of the audience noise. I look forward to hearing more.
Miles has a good point. Grab yourself a camera that can shoot in 1080p (god ones aren't that expensive), then record yourself without any background noise. Get some exposure/publicity on youtube. Look around if you need examples: my suggestion is to watch some of the videos by David Sides. He's a great example of how to get your music on youtube. Also, asking for people to watch your videos on other more popular videos works to. Use and abuse the video response system.
@taintofshadow I have a HD camera. But I was thinking about shooting this video with 2-3 cameras from different directions, wich makes it look better. I'll maybie soon do it with Chopins second ballade. I can access that hall at most times so i'm intending to record there (not a live recording) just because the piano there is sooooo good:) Thanks for the replies :) I will look at those videos by David Sides.

And just what relation does the quality of an audio recording have to do with the capabilities of the artist???
