  • Love that color of that strat

  • love that fender

  • thanks :-)

  • Just a quick question from a dummy. How do you tell what key a song or lick is in?

  • @lumaric01 if you have perfect pitch, you'll just know. but if you dont, and you have a guitar with you, just go up the low E string until it just sounds right. hope that kinda helps.

  • Sucking it up dude¡¡¡¡¡

  • It was pretty nice to be playing with you :) you're a real uncle-blues

  • Jody swings, even when playing a simple blues lick wiht no backing track or any other instruments.

  • thanks

  • nice!

  • very easy to learn man

  • these licks really need to get more complicated, hes too good at playing and explaining to be wasting his time with licks like this

  • Almost reminds me of something from "Come back to bed" by John Mayer

  • Likewise! Good ear.

  • argh, everytime I do the bend and then go for the 6th string-5th fret I get an open note on the 5th string....

How do you do the bend and then transfer to working on the 6th string with releasing the bend in the 5th string and losing the note OR snapping off of the 5th string and getting an open note on the 5th string???

  • The Best I could say is try to bar the bottom 2 strings with your index finger, and bend with your ring, as he does in the video. Once you go back to the root bit, lifet your finger to where it's on the 5th fret.

Don't know it that helps, but I tried. haha

  • Thank you for the assist!
