hey man this is sick i like to play heavy styles of music and then clean off too this would be a great setup for me and for the idiot telling you to buy an ibanez tell him to just fuck off ibanez even when used in faster styles of music lacks major tone and characteristic even in the shred genre a slightly modified strat or tele will outdo an ibanez any day
Yes it is a SD QP specifically for the Jazzmaster and yes there is hardly any background noise.
Curtis Novak make humbuckers for Jazzmasters, check em out. You can fit a standard humbucker in a Jazzmaster as well. There is enough room in the cavity and the pickup cover holds it in place.
Read the description again. I agree speed alone is NOT impressive, i was demonstrating that contrary to popular belief you CAN play heavy metal styles on a guitar intended for surf music.
It's a Jazzmaster but i have a Jag as well and they both use the same bridge....yeah, on my Jag i put electrical tape around the bridge posts so it stopped rocking and loc-tite glue on the saddle grub screws because they work themselves loose. The D and G intonation screws sometimes need cutting shorter as well as they can catch the strings.
There are a few methods of solving the bridges problems, for more info try: jag-stang.com or shortscale.org thanks. ;)
The sound is about a second faster than the vision. Really cool, though, and great playing. I've never seen someone rip it up like that on a Jazzmaster before :)
I love that nasty old tone! Reminds me of Mercyful Fate or something.

you're abusing a guitar that wasnt made for stuff like this, the playing isnt bad, nothing spectacular but get an Ibanez, don't kill a Fender
insideofemptiness 4 years ago
What are you on about?
So Hendrix, Blackmore and Malmsteen killed Fender Strats right? Coz they were'nt made for that either.
I have an Ibanez, a vintage Artist not one of them stupid floyd rose models that i guess your talking about.
There would be no point to the video if i had used an Ibanez, would there?
DID YOU READ THE DESCRIPTION?
