yeah of course...to all of you that are strangely mad at this dub, it is surely true that the original is always better, but to understand each culture some times we have to traslate, not only cinema but i'm talking also of literature. I think that more than a movie, a book is better being read in the original language. but how if you don't speak german or english or russian?

and just so you, you can't learn anything if the movie is in one language and the subtitles are in another

But I know, that doesn't mean the dubbing is needed: If it were for me in Italy we would keep the original voices. Btw a lot of italians agree with me so I suppose soon the situation will be like in your country.

The fact is not that we aren't civilized enough to listen to the original voices, but just that in Italy there is a long lasting tradition in the art of dubbing. So, please STFU.

@Bollo2 i lived in italy for 2 years and i almost didnt went to the cinema because of dubbing...its a dumb way to kill foreigner cinema...even though i respect the actors that dub but a part actually a great part of the acting is the voice and the interpretation.

And the main reason dubbing its still strong in italy its because of your low level in english that i stated when i lived there.

@fonziegee the preservation of the languange... if the goverment, the media, the cultural agents and the audience would had a real interest on preserving the language they should invest on education, living in italy i noticed so much ileteracy, and i dont know since when reading dubs its not instructive.

The question in italy has more to do with tradition, its a traditional country, deeply involved with it in all good and bad aspects. I love the Italian Language, but i stick with the original.

There's illiteracy in Italy like there is in any other country in the world,

In Italy you speak italian, if you want to see movies in english, there are some cinemas that do show them in the original language.

Reading dubs is instructive but I think people go to movies to enjoy them and not to have a language lesson.

@fonziegee I know there is the option that some cinemas and certain cable channels have films and series in original language.

For me, in my opinion a movie on its original language its much more raw, powerfull and true than dubbed. that was my first statement and about illlliteracy its a secondary argument answering the preserverence of the language.

A great part of acting its the voice, verbal expression, the diction, tone, etc etc
