well folks i have to add myself to thye sighting list as at 428 this morning i weas leting my dog out for a widdle she ran straight into shed but one secound later i heard a roar of a flapping wing and looked up and silovetted agaist the moon a dam terosaur it was big wingspan at least 30 feet i almost had a heart attack but it explains why my dogs have been acting weird over the lastt few months the female woandf the male has biult burrowsunder stuff all over my yard mainly under steel
birds and pterosaurs lived at the same time, but not related. dinosaurs never became extinct. id love to see a 12 meter wing span pterosaur. apparantly, one reason they grew so big is there was more oxygen then
thanks for doing this, if I were to get a tattoo it would be of a pterosaur on my shoulder. I have a collection of pteranodon dolls and figures and kites and I lke to use them in the art that Im building guitars and other wooden things.again thank you
That made me laugh even before I heard the music! This song reminds me of the beginning of Back To The Future. If I had a pterodactyl I'd name it "McFLY" GET IT?!
radiometric dating. isochron dating. superposition and cogenetic fossils of known age.
for instance around the entire earth there is a lawer of clay about .5-3 inches with high iridium content. we've isochron dated samples from all around the world to 65.2-65.8 mya, and we have a crater from ~65.5mya were the material came from. so anything below the KT boundary is older than 65.3 million years and anything above is younger than 65.8.
Sounds like you feeling I'm attacking dead dinosaurs, we all burn them by driving on them (fossil energy, oil and gas). I just want to know how scientists know they died so many million years ago.. and how they come to that conclusion.
Oh I believe in God..and that dinosaurs have lived. Satisfied?
fossil fuel isnt actually made from dinosaur fossils, you are aware of that right? alot of the time, they are made from plants. Im taking geology this semester in college and my professor made a point of that. sry just fyi
This video delivers exactly as promised.

I wonder what their descendants today would look like if they didn't die out.

I wouldn't be surprised if some pterosaurs were bird eaters since they were more precise fliers and faster and bigger then birds.

I wonder if these where the dragons. People while digging for what ever reason found these fossils.

interesting fact the worlds smallest flying vertebrate was a Pterosaur. it had a wingspan of only 25 centimeters.

Do you know how they guess that millions of years? For instance they can tell how old trees are by looking at the yearrings.
How do they do that with fossils?

You think the earth is more than 68 million years old? That's facinating because we're so close destroying it.
Brulluhman 2 years ago
I know at the moment every line of evidence supports the age of the earth to be at least 4.5 billion years old and no evidence to the contrary.
as for "destroying it", you're going to have to be more specific.
DonHoraldo 2 years ago
not to pester you but do you actually have anything or what?

no you said that you were on your way to destroying it. I assumed the "it" was the established dating methods. what do you think will do that.

I meant earth. We might become the new fuel for next age.
