I think alot of the barbed wire is used to collect hair samples and really doesn't faze the animals. And the information they can gather from those samples can be invaluable.

Nice to see how the animal crossings work....dont know if i agree with the barb wire that stuff is nasty! but i know that to many people and animals were hurt without the crossing from my years of driving tow truck in the Bow Valley seen the change first hand.
