Pro tip: If you make the a mistake and get dust on the stick side of the screen protector, use scotch tape to clean of the dust. I dropped my onto some carpeting, and the scotch tape did the trick. Now I have a perfectly clean and clear screen!

I tried 10 times to put the case together, but there is always extra rubber not fitting tight in the case... I don't know what's wrong it's the first time I experience this kind of problem with a case... It's pretty expensive to have to deal with those problems :S

1 - The Reflex Edges out the Commuter Series in protection

2 - Tie: both have polycarbonate as the primary outer surface which doesn't attract lint and dust easily

3 - Tie: Both are equally slim

4 - Tie: the slimness of each makes them easy to slip in and out of pockets

If you dock frequently, the edge would go to the Reflex Series case, which slips apart easily for dockability.

I bought this case after trying about 10 different ones on in the store. At first I was put off by what I thought was the bulkiest case of the bunch. It didn't seem to fit properly on one side (I got it on right by starting from top to bottom, instead of side to side, and stretching the rubbery part down all the way before seating the base.) Putting the phone down on its face was important to me, so i eventually went for the protection.

I feel like a moron, but I apparently missed a piece of dust on my screen, and then it got stuck to the screen protector while applying it... and in trying to clean it off, it's making the problem exponentially worse. Fortunately, it sounds like Otterbox will be sending me a replacement. Just the screen protector; I would hope they wouldn't send out a whole new case.

Without even dropping the phone, the bottom edges on both sides have cracked. its a great feeling case but a peice of crap since it lasted me a month.

Also, next time you have a remake of the commuter, make the JACK PORT ALOT BIGGER. i had to take the case off every time i wanted to plug an aux cord into my iphone. Thanks for the rip off! Do not buy this case.

Mine broke after two months. The hole that they cut out of the case so that you can see the stupid logo creates a very weak spot in the phone.Taking the phone case off and on every night to dock it made the hard shell weak. It snapped one night when I went to take the case off the phone.I had to take the case off because the silicone portion had the doc protector attached to it. When you tried to dock the phone with the case on you had to fold that part putting stress on the dock

You could give a stronger caution to us geezers about pulling up the second plastic cover from the film layer. The first time I did it just like it appears on the video and it pulled up the film layer. I didn't realize it at first and wasn't careful about setting it aside. Fortunately I didn't mess up the screen side too much and was able to attach it again, looking closely with reading glasses while peeling off the plastic. But now there are a few bubbles around the edge that won't clear out.

youtube has several video tutorials, they are tedious but for a reason. if you want to get the thing on straight, without dust and fingerprints you should just do it properly.
