if the vehicle is not intended for direct confrontation it does not need high speed nor amour. there is also a lot of golf-cars being used for service on military bases around. you wouldn't confront the enemy in one of them nether? this was to carry personal and equipment through tough terrain on territories which was already maid harmless by armed vehicles and personnel.

Bloody Americans taking credit for winning the war, i'm a Brit and even i can see if it wasn't for the Russians it may have been a totally different story. Its debatable if German tanks were better, they may have had technical superiority but thats not "better" if you cant make enough to win a war and they break down all the time..

@popuptoaster German tanks were superior but their intended use was never to trek across europe....as for the russian bit....germans were not prepared for the harsh russian enviroment and neither were their tanks which took a good 1-2 hourrs to start in that weather after sitting awhile.............to keep it simple the germans(HITLER) bit off more then they/he could chew

@popuptoaster It was won due to the decisions of the leaders and how they played out. Had the Germans waited to attack Russia until Brittan was finished we would all be speaking German. If it were not for the Americans and the Russians fighting the Germans at one time, coupled with an extra harsh winter it may have turned out quite different.

Thats what i said, technical superiority is not always "better" a fountain pen is technically superior to a pencil, but a pencil will work upside down, in outer space and under water, so if your upside down, in outer space or underwater a pencil is better than a fountain pen despite the pen being technically more advanced.
