For God's sake, the Kingdom Hearts Final Mix is only avaliable in JAPAN. You see, it's OUR VERISON but everything in the game is translated with Japanese subtitles and any form of text is in JAPANESE. It was released December 2002 for JAPAN ONLY because WE GOT EXTRA BOSSES (Sephiroth, the machine from Agrabah, the Time Phantom in Neverland and maybe even the Ice Titan, don't know), while the Japanese got the same BUT WITH MORE goodies.
Hell yeah! That was so cool it must've taken like,30 times to beat that! It was like, BAM BAM BAM BAM! Then it was like, CURE! That's a battle I'll never forget!

1) The accessory icon
2) The spell icon

Nah, that's not true. I think it's because in KH2, you can take advantage of reaction commands, but that doesn't exist in KH1

Yes it is the first KH game and you can only get it in Japan or if you import it from Japan.
