Imagine if you walked into a big room and the lights turn on and this music starts playing. There is a girl you have not known for long dancing in the center of the room and she asks you to dance with her and she flirts with you and standing in the background is another girl who happens to be an old lover of your father who will soon use the girl you are dancing with as a new vessel just to live longer and start flirting with you. Dante really does need more love. I've always felt she was a far more compelling and interesting villain than Father, even if she didn't get as much focus. Most anime and manga villains are simply super beings who want to become gods (Aizen, anyone?), so she was a welcome change. I just wish they could have expanded her relationship with Izumi more -- I always found their relationship incredibly interesting.

This piece has such an air of destiny about it. I always get chills when Ed finally confronts Dante in the underground city. The unspoken back story to this piece is fascinating to consider. As the series progresses and Dante switches bodies, we hear her theme progress from antiquated phonograph, to mournful dirge, and finally this lovely waltz.

You can almost picture Dante and Hohenheim dancing to this in the ancient city when they were still innocent lovers.

Poor Ed...Rose coming onto him...Dante creeping him out...dancing with creepy ass music in the background...almost seems like a worse predicament than getting his ass kicked by a god-like being that looks like him.

It basically takes the audio from any video you like on youtube and converts it into mp3 format so you can download it. Its fast, simple and free, you should give it a shot. d^_^b It's how I got this track onto my Ipod...

I finally found this version of Dante :-) I'm so glad cause this is my favorite. I remember hearing it in episode 49: "The other side of the Gate". When Rose and Edd are dancing also the same moment where Edd confronts Lyra to be truly Dante in Lyra's body. This song is playing in the back ground of that scene. Thank you for posting this video!
