Grindcore like a lot of other forms of music have Clones. nothing original, sharing the same sounds and styles from other bands, til its one boring peice of shit. this band can fit into that description. same old Clone style.

The same can be said for nearly any genre. You have your pop clones, hip-hop clones, arena rock clones, metal clones, etc.
I'm not a grindcore fan at all. I was mostly making fun of the fact that, rather than retorting, you just called him a stupid fuck and left it at that.
However, knowing a grindcore fan, I can say that it is rarely listened to for musical diversity. he just likes the speed and aggression in it, something this particular band does well.

I don't think CODC sounds anything like Suffocation. To me they are two completely different sounds. Maybe to the untrained ear they'd sound similar, but if you want good deathgrind, listen to CODC's The Genocide Machine. If you want your innovation, you'll find it there.
