@lionsforlyons Well apparently you know absolutely NOTHING about weather. Just because it's a funnel cloud doesn't mean it's automatically rated an EF0. Whoever told you that is wrong.
@PsiGiygas - Wait 5 minutes and the weather will change... Which is kind of true if you count temperature, although i guess that could apply most anywhere then. Of course i dunno what the rate of temperature fluctuations are in other climates/states.
I don't remember one in 07 but I had alot of damage in the August 08 one, I am in Lake County. It was wild. Also, we have had alot of Earthquake tremblors too, weather is getting crazy!

Man you gotta love your kids. I love to watch severe weather and a few times there have been tornado warnings with the sirens blowing and my 3 girls will be wailing away to get down stairs while I'm trying to get a look at the sky and stuff. They just want you to be safe.
i live in markleville and we got hail the size of baseballs and a f2 tornado last year.luckily it was in the woods and no1 was hurt or injured.but i did get a scar from when i went outside and hail hit me in my arm.....it hurts like hellllllllllllllllll..i got stitches
I've lived in Indianapolis all my life.. What I find so funny is how us people in the midwest actually Go Outside to view the tornado instead of running from it. lol. All my life the adults are at the window or on the porch watching at the same time yelling at the kids to 'stay back'..Love living here!!
Yeah, I'm from Lafayette where I also am majoring in meteorology at Purdue. I'm kind of sad that we didn't get anything like that from this past storm but I am also glad. That's some pretty cool footage.

there was also an F0 and that's probably what it was if it did touch down. there's a new enhanced Fujita scale that was put in effect in 2007.
