ha ha, I bet the other guy (commodore? monaro? camera was too excited, I can't really tell) diddn't expect that, I own a well tuned EF XR6, the cam is beautifull and pulls right through the revs (I will admit it is chipped to pull harder up top too) It pulls harder than my bloody 351 XC (considering I only bought the EF to save money on fuel) The entertainment value is brilliant looking at the face of the bloke driving the big block chev in the rear view mirror, his face reading "what the...."

man i think the 4 liter ford inline six might be the best sounding motor in history. id have to listen to some 6-cyl TVR soundclips to be sure but that's a pretty serious sound right there

I'm running mid 14's with a stock diff I'm off to get a 4:11 locker and a better tune on my 2nd too 3rd change I'm hoping for 13.2 at the moment I'm only just grabbing 3rd at the 400 @ 105mph

@seanieisere Love it that you are getting those KW naturally aspirated and I am told quite a bit more are possible for a more than decent spend of $. The Ford Aus straight 6 is a beautiful thing isnt it, smooth, powerful, torquey and reliable that kind of motor can only come from the many years of lineage the Ford straight 6 has had and since it has gone DOHC the only major thing to do is to make it lighter. (Or turbo, oh thats happened already hey) lol
