Ultimate gaming rigs are built from scratch with expression and originality, not bought and screwed together, anyone can do that. It may have a little hair on it's nuts but if you want it to be the Ultimate Gaming PC, be original and take a dremel to that damned thing and paint it. Show us some mods, Not how much money you blew on it. And put some better music on with it. But all that aside, good choice for hardware.

man you have oc your Q6600 from 2.4 ghz to 4.2 ghz using stock cooler?? yeah funny and the temperature is 90 degredes? I have an Q6600 and i had oc to 3.6 using a Thermalright IFX-14 with 2 fans of 120mm and the temp is 40 in idle and 55 in full load.

8800gts.. gts has one connector, gtx has 2 of them

the 8800gts (320mb or 640mb) takes up 2 slots and uses one power connector.

the 8800gtx takes up 2 slots and uses 2 power connectors.

the gtx cooler is a tad bigger than a gts cooler

the gtx's were made for higher resolution gaming 1680x1050+ so they made them with more stream processors, ram, needing more power to run, hence the 2 6pin power connectors to feed the beast

gts's were made for average joe what plays at normal resolutions like 1280x1024
