Nice Berts! Yes, they are cheap and yes, they are killer fun. Someone needs to start a company that sells a different mounting kit for the powerplant on these. It should incorporate a live axle for both wheels. Turning only 1 wheels is the only frustrating thing about these things.
i have one the engine fell off at 40kmh so i replaced the 32cc with a 49cc cag engine with powrpipe and afew mods flys now the engine bent the axle and stuff tho so gotta fix it and the boards old motor is now on a kids bike and it does 45kmh on 16inch wheels
ummmmm, they are still powerslides...they do them on longboards mostly and when your hand is on the ground its a burnslide. idk about gas but thats the way it is on a regular board
@mikai13 - That's why you buy an MBS mountain board, with brakes, so an Atom 95X or Core. Then you buy a cheap china made engine from a gas scooter and slap it on there. Works excellently!
@doomsd46 Boards with BRAKES? I gotta see that-I been waiting for somebody to come up with Skateboard brake for 10-15 years-British People been mounting gas engines on skateboards Late 1980s-Early 90's-But as for having brakes mounted on thier boards? That wasnt shown at the time
@OLDSCHOOLHHSEX -All these boards are really crappy mountain boards to be honest. Mountain boards, although most don't come with brakes, they sell a brake package that fits most MBS boards. The board I ride comes with brakes, and I have thought of mounting an engine to it. Google MBS Comp95X, its the board I ride, it comes with brakes installed, but it gives you an idea of what they look like. You could probably rig this to a gas board. Brake kit is $50 and you can buy MBS trucks it will fit.
@mikai13 - You can get a board with brakes for $200, and I got a free motor (Sample) that was 33cc, had a 5:1 gear ratio, and a 16 tooth sprocket. All I had to buy was a sprocket for the same weight of chain and mount it. It was like $225 in total. I should get a video of that...But you can beat it for $250. But the fact is, even though the one in the video requires no work, just buy it and ride it, it is a crap board. An MBS or Trampa Mountain board would last WAY longer.
