@mikefromspace Yes I would agree, The night this picture was taken was extremely cold but I have other pictures of the same cemetary through different times of the year, this ethereal fog or however one would define it has shown up also in the summer and warmer times of the year, but never in "vortex" fashion like the one that night. It seems digital cameras pick up a large amount of anomalies, which may indicate somehow they are able to capture a wider range of the spectrum.Thanksfor thecomment

@hatsoff144 Thank You :) The "vortex" picture I got late one night at a cemetery on a hill, it was a clear night with no wind. The vortex itself was not visible to the naked eye but my camera picked it up luckily.... I have before and after shots of it and it seems to have dissipated just as quickly as it appeared....

@Onesfear Nothing to see by the naked eye? that would mean it's uv maybe, something that the lens could bend for focus but outside our visible spectrum.
