  • hi i just dual booted xubuntu and xp with wubi and i have a toshiba satellite with intel celeron processor and 512 mem

and i am having problem finding a way to get my verizon brodband card to work

so i need to find a way to make it dial or a way to run the vzam program and make it work

    can u help?

  • silvercondouloboy0: Very cool! I make no promises on untested cards, though. While it should be using rt73usb, your card may actually need rt2500usb instead. It's a fine line, depending the card.

That is why I am very serious about supporting card manufacturers that support my love of Linux. ;)

  • I dunno. may be one or the other. I've tried messing around with it, but said heck with it and used ndiswrapper

when I downgrade to 32-bit when my 32-bit disc comes in, I will probably try that.

  • I looked at the post on lockergnome, and seen that those cards use the same chip as my D-Link! And the drivers, which worked out of the box in 7.04, work horribly in 7.10. Hopefully the script will work! Now where did I put my 7.10 disc.

  • Neither, see link to show notes in "About this video" by clicking more. :)

  • was that a hawking and a netgear wg111v2?
